Dislaimer: Before you ask yourself:“Where the heck did Sanni get a childhood photo of Matt-Man???” - That poor boy on the left isn´t Matty (as far as I know) - I´m sure Matty would never f… *uhm* hasn´t been so f… *uhm* Well, as far as I know it´s not Matty, just a little eyecatcher for the Dating Game results *wink*

Special thanks to all those who visited my Manic Monday entry, read the post, took time to leave a comment and those who gave the little game a try and placed their wild bets in the comments.

Yes, I´ve had a few dates at the cinema, but I never watched a movie including the word “date” in the title on a date. I confess I myself have seen only 3/9 of the mentioned “date”-movies so far…

Blind Date, 50 First Dates and Hitch - the Datedoctor.

Now, with no further ado, the results:

The first place: The excellent and witty writer Ian has not only been the first person who really read the post - he has also been the first one who gave that dating movie game a try AND he matched all the movie pics and titles correctly! WOO-HOO!

The second place: Vinny over at The Couch is a living jukebox AND a movie dictionary. Vinny matched 6 out of 9 pics and titles!

The third place: The one and only CrAzY Working Mom made it to 4/9 matches!

Honorable Mentions: That´s the consolation prize for the others, like the super-dancer Trav, who found 2 matches (mentioning 2 movies - not too bad, huh?)!

Thanks again for playing, peeps!

And now…

… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: [drunk] Look, the thing about my family is there’s five of us. Marge, Bart, Girl Bart, the one who doesn’t talk, and the fat guy. How I loathe him.

Some days ago I´ve mentioned it might be possible Luis won´t attend a German school, respectively a school in Germany, because we´ll potentially move. Now it´s official: We´re about to move. Some of you have asked before where we will be living, some others began to guess about the new home´s country.

I thought it might be a nice idea to give you some hints about our new home:

1.) It´s the capital of a European country.
2.) Berlin, Germany is the sister town of “Secret New Home”.
3.) “Secret New Home” is also home is to banks, brokers, insurers and legal and accounting firms - finance is the largest industry.
4.) Often called “The Green City,” “Secret New Home” has a number of open spaces.
5.) Several other people felt at home in “Secret New Home”: A Conqueror (movie will be released in 2009), a famous detective (”It is a question of cubic capacity. A man with so large a brain must have something in it.“), a famous novelist (”A loving heart is the truest wisdom.“), a school-aged wizard, a famous singer-pianist-composer and several royals (”Only do what your heart tells you.“),
6.) The centerpiece of the public transport network is the unterground (”the Tube”)
7.) “Secret New Home” is one of the major classical and popular music capitals of the world and is home to one of the five major global music corporations, EMI as well as countless bands, musicians and industry professionals.
8.) “Secret New Home” has hosted the Summer Olympics twice and will host the games again in 2012, which will make it the first city in the world to host the Summer Olympics three times.
9.) The most popular sport (for both participants and spectators) in “Secret New Home” is soccer: 13 League soccer clubs feel at home in “Secret New Home”. 5 of them are playing in the Premier League.
10.) “Secret New Home” is the founder of the crosswalk.

Do you have a clue?

Not yet? Okay… I´ll give you some more detailled hints:

11.) “Secret New Home” hosts an outstanding collection of world-class museums. Even better, it is the only one of the three traditional “alpha world cities” (along with NYC and Paris).
12.) “Secret New Home” features double-decker busses.
13.) For a display of British “Secret New Home”’s pomp and ceremony, you can watch the Changing the Guard ceremony outside the palace.
14.) There´s a spectacular bridge built in the late Victorian era in “Secret New Home”.
15.) “Secret New Home” owns the world’s largest observation wheel, the “Secret New Home”’s Eye.
16.) “Secret New Home” has got a famous cathedral with a “Whispering Gallery”, built by Christopher Wren.
17.) A large large royal park in “Secret New Home” is best known for its famous Speakers’ Corner, where people speak their minds.
18.) “Secret New Home”’s most famous tourist attraction lets you get up close to your favourite celebrities. Stars such as Brad Pitt, Wayne Rooney, Robbie Williams, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue and many more. The newest waxwork member is Leonardo DiCaprio.
19.) The largest shopping street in Europe is placed in “Secret New Home”.
20.) It’s strictly forbidden to have sex on a parked motorcycle in “Secret New Home” (just a reminder to self *LOL*)

Where are we going to live? Do you have a clue, my friends?

Please post your guess in the comments.
