You might already know it - I´m addicted to coffee, shopping (especially shoes *grin*) and I´m a huge Simpson´s fan.

About 2 years ago The Simpsons Movie was announced in Germany (production, etc. ) - now, ages later… we´ve been out to have our yellow moments in feature-length! WOOT!!! Finally!!!

The Simpsons Movie

We´ve had a bunch of fun watching the full-length cartoon movie. My favorite character is Homer - obviously (see our daily moment of Homer J.), followed by Maggie, Bart, Mr Burns and all the other more or less yellow citizens of Springfield, Wherever, U.S.! I also like Waylon Smithers, he assistant of C. Montgomery Burns, lots. Since Smithers and Burns played a short guest part in The Simpson´s Movie, I decided to honor them bit in this TT. Some (gay) friends and me myself have asked ourselves often, if mr Smithers might be gay… Yeah, I know… it´s totally strange to consider about the sexual preferences of anybody, especially of a cartoon character, but we are a kind of strange clique *LOL* and we even investigated, presenting the results proudly *wink*:

13 hints Mr Smithers might be gay…
… and in love with Mr Burns

1.) When Lisa seeks Smithers for help in contacting the inventor of Malibu Stacey, Smithers gets the information from his home computer. When he turns the computer on, the computer screen shows a nude Burns that utters in broken English: “Hello, Smithers. You’re…quite…good…at…turning…me…on.” - plus Waylon owns the largest Malibu Stacey collection.
- Lisa vs Malibu Stacey

2.) When Burns fantasies about Marge, he asks Smithers about that dream where you’re in bed and they fly in through the window. Smithers groans with pleasure, imagining Burns himself flying through his bedroom window. Smithers says, “You’ve been reading my wishbook, sir.”
- Marge Gets a Job

3.)In a flashback, Smithers explains why he “couldn’t keep his marriage together.” In which his wife blames Mr Burns for ruining the relationship
- Secrets of a Successful Marriage

4.)Burns asks Smithers to take off his belt; Smithers replies, “with pleasure, sir.”
- Burns, Baby, Burns

5.)In a restaurant Smithers discovers John, who is an homosexual, eating dinner with the Simpson family, and becomes upset.
Smithers: “So this is your “sick mother”?”
John: “Don’t do this to me, Waylon.”
- Homer´s Phobia

6.)When Springfield Nuclear Power Plant is about to suffer catastrophic meltdown. Burns remarks “I guess there’s nothing left but to kiss my sorry ass good-bye.” Smithers asks, “May I, sir?”
- Homer Defined

7.) When a record thrown by Moe hits Smithers in the head, Smithers appears to get excited when he sees the record’s title “It’s raining Men.”
- Fear Of Flying

8.) During the “In the Navy” musical number, Smithers, for some reason, is seen dancing next to the Village People on top of a submarine.
- Simpson Tide

9.) Smithers is “caught on film” leaving a burlesque house. Burns demands an explanation; Smithers replies, “My parents insisted I give it a try.”
- Bart After Dark

10.) When Lisa’s message-rocket breaks into Mr. Burns’s office and lands in his suit, the old man tells Smithers he has “a rocket in my pocket.” Waylon’s knowing reply: “You don’t have to tell me, sir.”
- A Litthe Wiggy

11.) When Mr. Burns is shocked at “Hit Man” Hart’s “old man smell” remark, Smithers tells him he has an enchanting musk.
- The Old Man And The Lisa

12.) When Mr. Burns goes through his lunch, he comes across… “One jar of garlic pickles. No one will want to kiss me after these, eh Smithers?” to which Smithers replies “It’s their loss, sir.”
- D´OH-ing In The Wind

13.) In this episode, Smithers basically shows a lot of resentment towards Burns courting Marge’s mother. When Burns asks for help in composing a love letter, Smithers recites “`Darling one, read my words and hear my heart speak of a love soft and undying: a love that will be with you always. Sincerely,’ yatta, yatta, yatta.” Burns asks how he thought it up so fast. Smithers cries, “I sent it to you on your birthday! *sob* Excuse me, I have something in my eye!”
- Lady Bouvier´s Lover

Happy TT and thanks for stopping by,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: There’s your giraffe, little girl.
Ralph Wiggum: I’m a boy.
Homer: That’s the spirit. Never give up.

Marcia Kilgore, the founder of Bliss, the Mecca for spa hoppers on both sides of the Atlantic, teamed up with engineers and designed a shoe that´s named FitFlop.

As soon as I saw them, I knew I had to have them. Truth be told, I wasn’t the only woman dying to get her feet into the latest greatest leg-toning thigh-trimming footwear…

The King’s Road Sporting Club in London, UK was one of the first shops to stock the miracle shoes and sold more than 700 pairs in three days. Owner Michael Conitzer said:

In 13 years I’ve never seen anything like this. It is the fastest-selling product we’ve ever had.

The FitFlop website apologises for the current limited availability of the sandal, which is due to it “selling out faster than you can say gluteus maximus”.

So, if you’re not already pounding the streets with a pair of FitFlops, you’ll have to join the thousands in the queue for this summer’s must-have footwear.

13 reasons why I adore my FitFlops

1.) After Luis was born I started my weightloss journey -I´ve lost 142lb so far, exercising plays an important role in this weightloss. I rarely have the time to go to the gym… so I love the idea of getting a workout while I walk.

2.) FitFlops have the potential to make my butt smaller and my legs leaner.

3.) Although I´m addicted to shoes I love to walk barefoot, especially in the summer. The biomechanically engineered Fit Flops help to recreate the natural gait of barefoot walking.

4.) FitFlops are really light - they weigh around 400g per pair. This makes me feel like walking barefeet and it makes them fantastic to take with me when traveling.

5.) Each step in my FitFlops absorbs shock from my feet, knees and back. My back feels better since I wear them.

6.) They are very comfortable while they help me to gain muscle strength, tone my legs and burn calories - toning is as easy as putting one foot in front of the other =)

7.) I´ve been wearing my Fit Flops for a while now - and I can feel the muscles of my legs working overtime, from my calves all the way up through my hamstrings to where I need it most: my glutes.

8.) FitFlops come in three colors: red, black and bliss blue. Like all these colors lots - so the FitFlops fit perfectly to my apparel.

9.) FitFlops look cute - I thought about ordering some MBTs a few months ago, the Masai Barefoot Technology training shoe, developed by Swiss Engineer. But to me the MBTs are monumentally ugly (though some say equally effective).

10.) I always wanted to own something with a “powerful new built-in micro-wobbleboard workout-enhancing effect”. =)

11.) The insoles are squishy, which help with the comfort. The sandal is the most snug at the top of my foot, and since the strap comes back farther on the top of my foot, it doesn’t “flip flop” as much when I walk so the FitFlops don´t come off too easy - I´m not afraid to brake my bones in them.

12.) Rumors abounded FitFlops help you to get rid of cellulite, too. Dreams to come true - not confessing I have cellulite *LOL*

13.) Last, but not least: My French pedicured toes look very cute in FitFlops

I love “ordinary” Flip Flops… so the FitFlops, half sexy sandals, half muscle toning trainer, will definitely get my vote for “must-have” of the summer: I´ve completed my FitFlop Collection a few days ago =)

Intrinsically I planned to post 13 reasons why I adore my Fit Flops - but the mo-licious
Mo Show, made me change my mind. Last Tuesday´s theme was “Why do we blog?” - the show was pure fun. Since Morgen, the wonderful host, is a T13 participant as well (and known in all places *s*) I can´t imagine anyone has missed it - just in case: the Mo-Show is archived here. You´re next chance to listen live, call in or communicate on yahoo IM is Tuesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm EST!
Now, back to Thursday Thirteen:

13 reasons why I blog

1.) I never really seem to wonder why. Birds make nests, bees make honey and bloggers blog. Once you start, it´s hard to stop, as you are in a sense carving out territory in Cyberspace for your ideas, your memories, your very existence… you start to live there, you have no desire to stop, but…

2.) I have kept a diary, journal, or something similar for as long as I can remember. Blogging online is pretty much the same to me… well, okay… I share my diary with the whole Blogosphere now. The most amazing thing is: Anyone can see it- people all over the world can see what I´m up to, through photos and postings, not just when I write it, but any time they care to look.

3.) When I started blogging I did this for myself - as a hobby. That´s why Coffee2go was started in German, just a few posts were written in English. The first readers stopped by an left comments. Oh, how I love to pretend I´m talking to another adult.

4.) I blog to talk about the things I like. Coffee2go is a nice platform to discuss anything and everything I like, e.g. Robbie Williams, music, recipes, books, Guns N Roses, Pirates Of The Carribean, Christmas cookies, peace, vacation, The Simpsons, MAC, fashion, blog design - without any limits.

5.) I can also talk about the things I dislike. Sometimes I see stuff that is just wrong that I feel needs correction or countering. This is my little space in the web, I can express any kind of feelings. I love to discuss, hear controverse opinion and learn.

6.) Blogging is the answer to everything. Every time I needed an answer (like I got some tunes stuck in my head and don´t remember the song title - which makes me MAD of course) I blog about it and get several responses.

7.) I myself have been through a lot - and I hope that some of my lessons learned will make my reader´s lifes a little easier.

8.) Blogging also means the exposure to new ideas to me. How else could you learn a little bit about psychiatry, a little bit about literature, a little bit about homemaking, a little bit about foreign traditions and discover what makes people tick, all in the hour between work and bed?

9.) It´s cheaper than therapy - It’s almost a form of therapy with more than one counselor give advice.

10.) Blogging is my way of destressing. The Evil Blogger Twin is my platform to make some noize, and let of steam and walk away without killing anyone *LOL* Just happy to have the freedom to say whatever I want in whatever way I please!

11.) Since I recieved the first comments, I found out blogging is a great networking source, socially and professionally. I discovered the professional aspects much later: Many people who were interested in xml blogger designs for the so called New Blogger Platform found Pimp Your Blog - the Shop while searching in the Nav-Bar or google directed them to the Pimp Your Blog blog.

12.) Oddly enough, it wasn´t my primary reason for blogging at the onset, but making personal connections moved to near the top of the list since. I love getting comments and leave comments on blogs. I’m getting to know various folks via the blog that I’ve never met face to face. I´ve made many “2D” online friends - which I´d love to meet in “3D” real life some day.

13.) Keeping in touch with my fellow blogging friends means a lot to me. Although we´ve never met, I care for them. We laugh together, we cry together, we vouch for each other. We support each other. You all cheering me on helped LOTS getting rid of my love handles. I made it - with your help! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Why do YOU blog?

Happy TT and thanks for stopping by,
