[Please scroll down for Tackle It Tuesday]

Julie has invited to join her Race to the shower - her bridal shower is 16 weeks away. Julie´s goal is to get rid of another 15/16 pounds till then. Surely I joined the race. Today in the morning I had my weekly weigh-in day. Please give me some pats on my back: I´ve lost another lb. That´s only 6 lb to go. I´ve more than halved myself (OK: my weight) since I gave birth to Luis. Hopefully this doesn´t sound swanky, but I´m too proud not to tell you! Maybe you cn share my happiness? =)

Wanna join the race or just support? Please visit Flip This Body! And please vote for Julie at the Blogger´s Choice Award. She is nominated for Best Health Blog. I don´t mind if you vote for me, too (Best Design). You have to sign up for voting, but it´s worthy. You´ll find lots of fellow bloggers to show some love to. If you are nominated, too, please let me know so I can vote for you!

xoXOxo,

Cyber Cruise update:

The one and only Hootin´Anni took us on a fantastic trip to yesterday at her North America Surprise Tour today: Wild Wild West! We enjoyed breathtaking sightseeing, had a delicious lunch (5 once Mesquite Chicken Sandwich for me - so incredibly good, but way too much to handle for me) and I went shopping, spending my last Cyber Cash (on shoes, what else?! *LOL*).

Guess what happened when we were back on our way? We were robbed! We had to relenquish our valuables! Oh my… The (*erm* very handsome) guys stole my newly purchased eye-catching sexy Manolo Blahnik Over-The-Knee Suede Boots, the Manolo Blahnik leopard printed suede Mary Jane I was wearing today and my delicious Sandwich leftovers!

I will never forget their lucky facial expression when they slipped into my heels and escaped balancing the sandwich on their noses… so I don´t mind I have to return bare-footed (Wearing their worn-out stinky cowboy-boots? Me? No way!!!) , bankrupt and hungry. And yes, my wooden dick pipe is safe and sound… but the circumstances of hiding it will remain a well-kept secret between the little weenie and me! *LOL*

Thanks again for the great fun, Anni! =)

Thanks for stopping by,

Are you ready to face some abstract mathematics? *LOL*

[The first picture shows my huge pregnancy belly shortly before Luis was born. Having a look at the second picture you see Luis right after (about half an hour) I gave birth to him… Well, and the third picture shows my empty belly today. ]

Hop on the beach and join us!

Today´s destination: Chesapeake Beach, US - hosted by Melli

Thanks for stopping by,

Welcome to my Thursday 13 Edition No 14

Many people, including myself truly, often lack the motivation to get off the couch. How many times have O put on my workout clothes, sat down to tie my shoes, then suddenly said to myself: “The producers of 24 are counting on me to watch!” - What to do? I just lack that extra push, not only to get me to the gym, but to push me through a challenging, productive workout. I found my motivation in music. I´ve posted some of the songs - in no particular order - and linked the titels to YouTube (Beware: a couple of them contain explicit lyrics)

13 Songs That Move Me

1.) Gnarls Barkley: Crazy
2.) The Boss Hoss: Hey Ya
3.) Dee Lite: Groove is in the Heart
4.) The White Stripes: Seven Nation Army
5.) Nelly Furtado: Maneater
6.) Will Smith: Switch
7.) Salt N´Pepper: Push It
8.) Destiny´s Child: Bootylicious
10.) Pussy Cat Dolls feat Busta Rhymes: Don´t Cha
11.) Gwen Stafani: Hollaback Girl
12.) Pink!: You And Your Hand
13.) Christina Aguilera: Dirrrty

If you like to find music that moves YOU and you are not sure which songs to use, leave a pad and pencil in the car. The next time you find yourself playing the air guitar and singing like a first round American Idol contestant, write the song down. Its probably a good song to add to your play list. Please wait till you stop driving, to write it down, you are scaring me. =)

Thanks for supporting my weight loss so generously with your comments. This week I´ll do 5 Crunches on my Exercise Ball for each comment I´ll recieve! Thanks to Caylynn for this great tip! =)
So, come on, be my drill instructor!

Happy TT,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Marge: I think you should do it, Homer, you might learn something new!
Homer: Oh, Marge, whenever I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out. Remember that time I went to those duff brewery classes and I forgot how to drive?
