I took part in the Interview Meme a week ago. I´ve had lots of fun answering the questions, so I decided to willingly participate again. Hey, I´m an egomaniac - having a blog is not enough excuse to talk about myself *grin*
The five following questions are sponsored by Danielle, the very talented one and one Taureandevi. Thanks for giving me another platform, my friend =)

1. A recent article described the importance of a blog’s brand and visual identity in creating a successful blog. How long did it take you to come up with your own “visual identity”? Describe Coffee 2 Go’s style in three words.

I was sitting on the patio, enjoying a huge Starbuck´s Frozen Caramel Frappuccino in July 2006, shortly after I gave birth to Luis. I decided to start blogging although I knew there wouldn´t be much time to - just as long as it would take to… to… to prepare this wonderful Coffee2go is was enjoying. So this blog was born within 5 minutes. When I started Coffee2go the template was full of coffee flavor, too… coffee and cream - colored all over. I´ve lost this visual coffee-flavour when I pimped Coffee2go with my “Spring Has Sprung” template. Now the little coffee corner smells of lavender *achoo* =)

Welcome to Coffee2go. We are

Open-minded | Paranoid | Caffeinated

2. {This question is to be answered by both the lovely Sanni and her EvilBlogger Twin.} I think we could safely say that the majority of your readers are American. What do ya think of us?

It is rarely possible, but sometimes it occurs -
Sanni and her Evil Blogger Twin are in complete agreement:
We both love our readers. We are proud to announce the 20,000th visitor at Coffee2go soon… Okay, Evil Blogger Twin adds she´s a bit jealous because her part in the blogosphere doesn´t get as much attention as mine. While she blames this on people´s inhibition I blame it on her lazyness to post ;).

Having a look at my statistic I can say you´re right. The majority of my readers are American. I´ve been to different places in the U.S. so far - the persons I met in “real life” were all warm-hearted and friendly - and so are my visitors in the blogosphere. I really appreciate your visits - and I do love ya all!

3. If you could give three gems of advice to a new blogger what would they be?

1.) Be yourself - always and always. Not matter if you are posting or showing some love to your fellow bloggers by commenting.
2.) Dress your blog as well as you would dress yourself for a meeting with an unknown person. Just for the record: I´m not talking about mini-skirt and high heels, but about fonts and design.
3.) Add tags and ping technorati yourself. Or find someone smarter than me who tells you how to ping technorati automatically. If you found someone to guide you - please let me know =)

4. When did your obsession with coffee begin?

It started with espresso. I guess it was 1995, while I was working as a manageress on Canon´s booth at the CeBIT in Hannover, Germany. We were tired as death and running out of drugs, but needed to be wide awake. So I fell head over heels in love with the Jura espresso machine in the front office. I will never forget the nice promising sound the magnificent percolator made after I fondly pressed its “Double Espresso”-button! Actually I´m still dreaming to give a home to one of those marvelous machines: The Jura Impressa Z5. Well, I can´t afford this one… so I leave it at hanging around at the official Jura dealer in Duesseldorf, Germany every now and then, visiting my dream machine, stroking “my” Z5 suavely…

(It´s sad, isn´t it? Wanna endorse our love? Please don´t hestitate to click the donation button in the left sidebar! *wink*)

5. If you invented a time machine when would you go?

I´d give my time machine a test going back to 1998, telling my younger self: “Stay away from that guy. Far, far away!!!”
Thereafter I´d go back to the Middle Ages, to sate my medievalism (of course: carrying a clothespin on my nose) - and then another flying visit: A pirate´s life for me -YO-HO!

I confess I was lousy late coming up with the interview questions for my 3 volunteers last time. My weird schedule made it impossible to prepare the questions earlier than today. I promise to be much faster now. SO:
Anybody else up for the challenge? If so, here are the rules:
- I’ll interview the first three people who request it.
- If you want to be one of them, leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
- I will respond by e-mailing you five questions.
- I get to pick the questions. (Make sure I have your e-mail address).
- You will then answer the questions in a blog post of your own.
- You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
- When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions, and the cycle will repeat forever and ever until the end of time.
- Have fun!

And where do we go from here???
Enjoy your wEEkEnd, everybody!
Feel free to return for Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt tomorrow =)

The five following questions are courtsey of inimitable Steven - thanks for the great fun, my friend!

1. If you could create a new coffee flavor or coffee drink that captures that essence of who you are, what would it be called and what would it consist of?

It´s all about being nuts! Indulge yourself with

The

Sultry
Active
Nutty
Naughty
Impassioned

Café Frappe Triple Nut Brittle

Beware! Having a “Sanni Café Frappe Triple Nut Brittle” might cause an irreparable fit of insa-NUT-y!

2. Homer Simpson has left Marge and is now romancing you. What 3 things might he say to get your attention?

“Mmmm… Sanni!”

“From now on I’ll never leave the room without saying how much I love you and… this takes a long time. May be a pat on your butt will do… that’s it.”

“Wear this blue ample-hairdo wig and I´m going to the backseat of my car with you, and we won’t be back for TEN MINUTES.”

I guess he´s coaxed me already with the “Mmmm…”-line =)

3. Which song gets most play on your iPod and what would your therapist say it reveals about you?

Since my Evil Blogger Twin and me are sharing one ipod it´s a tie between “Sweet Escape” (Gwen Stefani) and “Smack My Bitch Up” (The Prodigy). My therapist told me us some years ago to accept the diagnostic finding “split personality” - I am we are beyond remedy. So I we both live my (HA! MY! Did you hear that, Evil-Sanni?!) life having twice the fun. Concerning the songs Dr Frankenstein is a bit worried. He knows about my shoe-addiction, too. He thinks I will cook my goose soon because I always have to buy a new pair of shoes after listening to “Sweet Escape”. He also knows Evil Blogger Twin is a furious hag, not mincing any matters. He always tries not to mess with her - so he left it by that, just asking where to get the video which was banned on MTV. ;)

4. Probing aliens have landed and have the ability to erase 4 of your fears. Which would you have them erase?

1.) First of all I would have them erase my fear of being abducted by probing aliens. 2.) Next: Please erase my fear of SP… SP… S-P-I-D-E-R-S! I hate my arachnophia so much I tried to bear it down even by adopting a tarantula - Sir Humphrey - a few years ago. The result: I didn´t fear Sir Humphrey… but still all the others. *sigh*
3.) My fear of finding adorable shoes and not having tons of money to buy them (hopefully this does include deleting my fear of “Having enough money to buy all adorable shoes, but there are no admirable shoes available anywhere.” Well, this will never happen. Neither rolling in money, nor the shoe apocalypse - so let´s ignore this and pass over to…)
4.) My fear of running out of coffee!!!

5. What kind of shoes are most appropriate for a full day of shopping?
Any kind of Manolo Blahnik´s High Heels. I prefer the “heelless” Arunium to the left. Why? It´s so uncomfy you will be in need to buy new shoes to continue your full day of shopping!!! There´s no better alibi to wallow your shoe-fetish *wink*

I guess everybody is interviewed already… if not: here´s your chance:
Anybody else up for the challenge? If so, here are the rules:
- I’ll interview the first three people who request it.
- If you want to be one of them, leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
- I will respond by e-mailing you five questions.
- I get to pick the questions. (Make sure I have your e-mail address).
- You will then answer the questions in a blog post of your own.
- You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
- When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions, and the cycle will repeat forever and ever until the end of time.

So many things to do, so little time =)

I´m late (again) for Sonny´s Friday Five! So I´m not going to tag anyone but feel free to copy and paste it to your own journal and reply to the questions :)

Welcome to another “Interview With A Crackpot” - Today featuring: The Internet

Sanni´s Evil Blogger Twin is off for the weekend… so “only” Sanni is at our command. Here we go:

Oh Internet, how we crave thee…

1. How much time do you spend on the Internet daily?
*Oooops* Can I just tell you my weight instead? *lol*
I am a freelancer working w/ my notebook… so I´m online about 9 hours a day for work plus an additional 3 hours a day in leisure time… which is way down and more healthy from how I used to be. I know, I´m such a geek… =) Go me!

2. What are your favorite 3 websites?
Way too many… can´t pick only three. So I´m going to factor out the websites I visit for work. Whenever I find a bit time to relax:
1.) Have a look at my blogroll on the right =)
2.) Mr L (My little son´s babypage)
3.) ebay

3. Do you eat at your computer?
Every once in a while… but I´m trying to break this habit, because:
1.) I would never take a break while working when eating at my notebook.
2.) Who read my Thursday Thirteen #2 knows I am trying to get rid of the last 12 kg
(26.4 pounds) remaining on my hips after pregnancy. I guess I will never make it when nibbling while I sit at my computer. =)

4. Pick one and why - Reading the news online or in a newspaper?
Can´t pick one because I do both. I love to read an “old-fashioned” newspaper by weekend´s brunch. I prefer online-news on the job because I don´t breakfast in week commencing Monday to Friday and it´s easy to access a news-ticker additionally while working online.

5. How many people are on your instant messenger buddy list?
At present I do not use any IM service. At the hight of my usage I had around 15 or so…

And where do we go from here??? YESSSSSSS:

Enjoy your wEEkEnd, everybody!

Catch ya,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Marge: Homer, I don’t want you driving around in a car you built yourself.
Homer: You can sit there complaining, or you can knit me some seat belts.

Today featuring: Happy Birthday

1. When is your birthday?
Sanni and

Sanni´s Evil Blogger Twin are born on June, 11th 1974. Their zodiac sign is Gemini… twice the fun. [Aaaaah… wait a minute… 2 ladies suffering from split-personality, both born as a zodiac “Gemini”? … Are we dealing with FOUR crackpots blogging on Coffee2go? Mercy, please. Two of them are way enough!]

2. When you blow out the candles on your cake, do you make a wish? Have any of them come true?
Sanni makes wishes, of course, but never self-supporting ones. She remembers one wish that came true: She wished her Mommy to be healthy again, who spent many weeks in a hospital. - and Mommy is fit [*KnockOnWood*]

Sanni´s Evil Blogger Twin prefers to eat the burning candles and pick a cake fight with her guests

3. How do you feel about birthdays and birthday celebrations?
Sanni likes birthdays and birthday celebrations, especially to arrange birthday-parties for others. She worked as a party-planner for ages. Now she loves to arrange parties for her loved ones. She likes her own birthday as well, but she´d like it even more without the ever increasing number of candles on her birthday cake :)

Sanni´s Evil Blogger Twin likes birthdays ditto, but definitely not the own one. The own Birthday is a reminder of having a reflective look into the mirror, catch one´s reflection, count the crinkles… be amazed about their number… brood over their reasons… appoint “dolce vita”… pour a glass of Glenfiddich… light a cigarette… toast life [and grin like a Cheshire cat… backdoor. Admit this? No way!]

4. What has been your favorite birthday gift? What kind of gifts really blow you away?
Sanni thinks it is the very thought that is relevant… she is fond of birthday gifts and variegated birthday cards.

Sanni´s Evil Blogger Twin agrees [once in a blue moon, but possible].
Gifts are unable to blow her away… but bozos. Normally you are not surrounded by blockheads on your birthday therefore she is rarely annoyed on her birthday. On with the show!

5. What flavor cake do you prefer?
Sanni favors “Kalte Schnauze”. This is a German speciality her Granny dressed for her during childhood. It mostly consists of shortbread and chocolate-cream *yummy*

Sanni´s Evil Blogger Twin prefers all kind of cream cake… just because they are proper for cake fights :)))

Today´s “Interview With A Crackpot” developed from Sonny´s Friday Five Tag… Meantime it´s Tuesday, so we are not going to tag anyone… but: feel free to tag yourself :)

love ya all later,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: Marge, I’m going to Moe’s. Send the kids to the neighbors, I’m coming back loaded!
