TheTeach has tagged me for this meme a while ago. I greatly appreciate this tag for many reasons:
First and foremost because I was tagged by TheTeach and the MEME helped me answering a question that bothered me for a long time. I remembered I´ve played a similar game many moons ago. It was named “SEVEN“. Digging through my archives I found the MEME and a hint… about me and my hair… a while back I couldn´t imagine to get my hair cut short - so why should I do it now??? Oh those pregnancy hormones… =)

Now, with no further ado, back to the game:

STACK

I love books. If I could eat them I would. I love their scent.
There´s always a huge stack of books waiting for me on my bedstand. Yes, I confess - I´m not a girl for one book… I´m a book-cheater *wink* …and I have to own the books I´m reading. It doesn´t matter if the books are new or used, but they have to be mine, just because sometimes I re-read the books.

I currently have an affair with 4 books:

- The Darwin Awards: Evolution in Action by Wendy Northcutt (far too funny)
- Salt on Our Skin by Benoite Groult (I could read it over and over again, at least once in a year *sigh*)
- Foundation PHP for Dreamweaver 8 by David Powers (need this one for pimping WP designs)
- The Milkman by our blogging friend Ian Healy (For the 3rd time! I absolutely love it! It´s 2007s laugh-out-loud-hilarious must-read. Buy and enjoy!)

What are you reading? My bloggie, I know =) - but is there a book you´re currently into? Please let me know about your reading habits.

Love & PEACE ♥,

Sanni

… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: When will I learn? The answer to life’s problems aren’t at the bottom of a bottle, they’re on TV!

Jul 27

July 27th, 2007 - 2:28 AM GMT+1

It´s raining cats and dogs outside, how fitting! After slurfing a few butter beers (“Aggio, beer!”) and using tons of Kleenex, I have officially finished reading

“Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows” (Book 7).

Finding myself in the midst of the seven stages of mourning for the end of the Harry Potter era I´m going to bed now.
For those HP Maniacs who haven´t finished reading this last great adventure, yet, Coffee2go will remain a spoiler-free zone for at least 3 weeks, BUT: Feel free to email me. I´d love to discuss the book with you! Fire Whiskey anyone?

Catch ya,

Sanni

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: I want to share something with you: The three little sentences that will get you through life.
Number 1: Cover for me.
Number 2: Oh, good idea, Boss!
Number 3: It was like that when I got here.

I´ve got this longing to simplify.
Everything.

Sometimes I wish it was as easy to organize my thoughts
as it is to arrange my closet.

Don´t be thinking this would be an easy task…

You haven´t seen my closet =)

Trying to clean up my clouded brain by letting out some random thoughts:

Spend my rare spare time reading Ian Healy´s The Milkman -
which definitely rocks. A detailed review will be up soon.
Grab your own Milkman if you haven´t already. It´s this summer´s must-read for sure. Indulge yourself - pure entertainment promised. Oh, you got one? Than watch the skies, cover your ass, go and get another!

Most of my fellow Blogger´s present a picture of themselves in their blogs. I really appreciate this. It´s so nice to see you in 2D. Some great folks decited to join Blogtalk Radio. Another thing that definitely rocks. It´s so exciting to
get to know the voice behind the 2D blogging friends:

The sexy Turnbaby was co-hosting Pointless Drivel Show #23 on Monday.
Fab entertainment! I really need to get the karaoke version of “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” as new mobile ringtone! Those one´s who listened to the show are surely curious to see our friend Trav´s nice piece of ass. Well, I can help you here. Recieved an anonymus hint - don´t ask! Click on the picture if you dare =)

Our brilliant friend Mo is hosting The Mo Show each Tuesday at 6:30 pm EST. Although it starts at 12:30 am in my part of the world I always try to stay awake and listen live. This week´s theme was Harry Potter Mania - perfect choice in my eyes ears. Yes, I´m a Harry Potter Maniac… so I challenged The Furry Diva to keep me awake. She did it… licking my nose til the show began. However, it was worth being licked (You´ll behave… not commenting this verbal slip, will you?). The show was mo-licious! Bonus: Our wonderful blogging friends Neila and Desert Songbird called-in! Looking forward to listen to your Harry Potter reviews soon. There will be reviews, huh? Please say yes. Would love to see this show added to my newest Mo-Show widget in my sidebar, listening again and again =)

Another rocking podcast on Blog Talk Radio is pretty Dr Blogstein´s Radio Happy Hour. We especially enjoy the shows our friend Vinny from The Big Leather Couch joins in. We listen to the on Wednesday morning, that´s why we´ve added the podcast´s feed to the sidebar, too. The Happy Hour is broadcasted at 3:00 am in Germany… can´t cope with that much “Stay awake, Sanni!”- nose-licking *LOL* - but I enjoy having my morning coffee with Dr Blogstein. ;)

Hoping the one and only Matt-Man will be infected with the podcast virus soon! Can you hear me, Matty? Go and pour some bagwine into Blog Talk Radio!

The Coffee2go polling station is a quite new theme. We request our reader to tell us how they feel and cast their vote while taking a coffee break in our little café.

It began when help was needed. Our chef de cuisine asked to love some food for my 33rd birthday. We knew we would end up with a burritos, filled with brats, steak and pizza and some six-packs… *LOL* See yourself:

[Click on the pie chart to enlarge]

Our next poll was included into another new theme at Coffee2go: The Coffee2go Top50. We were beating the heat by posting our Top50 Cruising Songs, asking you:

[Click on the pie chart to enlarge]

Let´s see… our vistors are off-the wall and of the road, love it deeper… wider… faster… harder… - in the backseat =). Not astonishing *snicker*

However, the German summer is hiding somewhere in the South of Europe. I didn´t do a rain dance - I promise. Tried to call summer by posting The Coffee2go Top50 Summer Songs.
In connection with the Top50 we asked you about your personal “summer vacations” preferences.
You can cast your vote on the lasted poll until the upcoming Monday. Please let us know about your ideal summer vacation - the results are pretty ugly so far. Do you all spend your summer vacations on the beach, playing Twister naked???

I´m beaming with pride to inform you I had to update my Rockin³ posting for the 2nd time. Why? My awesome neighbor and blogging friend Tink awarded my, too. Thank you so much, girlfriend! From now on my “official” title is

Ste Sanni of the Bratwurst, Rockin´Girl Blogger of the 5th degree

Additional thoughts on split personality:

My freshly pimped Evil Blogger Twin has been quite active, too. Besides her Dona Nobis Pacem-posting, she got her blog rated and posted some noise about her latest freak magnet experiences.
Please stop by if you find a minute - if you´re not afraid of addult language. She curses sometimes…

We´re planning a contest over at Pimp Your Blog - The Blog.
The first prize will be a free blog make-over! Anyone can attend. Further details and launching date will be announced next week. Hope you´ll enjoy!

Aaaaaah… I´m sorry I talked enough to make even coffee nervous today, but it felt soooo good to organize some of my thoughts. My little brain is much more relaxed now.
Next: Organizing my closet *snicker*

Espresso, anyone?

xoXOxo,

Sanni

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I’ve seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked!
Marge: HOMER!
Homer: I gotta go Moe my damn weiner kids are listening.
