Barb over at Skittles´Place left me this award at her blog yesterday. She said my weight-loss is an inspiration.

I never expected to inspire anyone by posting about my “after pregnancy weight-loss journey”. Far from it! I thought the “tiny little pressure” of a weightloss ticker and writing about my diet would help me (and only me) to stay on the right track. It helped… I lost 144lb from April 2006 till October 2007. Some was lost by sports, some other by diet, change of eating-habits, some thanks to CD *yikes* and lots was water (pregnancy gestosis).

Most of you know I´m pregnant again. The little girl, code name “Hamster 2.0″, is due in 17 weeks and one day. I´ve gained a few lb so far… Have you ever had the feeling food is calling your name??? Especially those things you normally don´t like too much… like chocolate? Well, that´s not funny ;)

However, I´m a bit chicken-hearted about the upcoming 17 weeks… there are a few edemas in the morning, but I already wonder how I´ll feel after these 17 weeks.

Whatever might happen - I´m sure I´ll make it again… and keep you updated - with another (more or less) huge weight loss journey - and if it helps someone else… I´ll be more than happy!

*harrumph* Friends and folks - it´s me again! Yes, me. The little coffee corner has been closed for a while - after I felt a wee bit better we decided to take a break and hop over to Mallorca, Spain and enjoyed a wonderful belated summer-holiday… *sigh*

We returned last Thursday and brought something not-so-nice with us: The whole family was infected with the so called “Noro-virus” *barf*. We´re getting back to feeling “normal” step by step. Enough said.

You see, it´s been qiet inside the kittle coffee corner, but definitely not outside. My blogging pals did not forget about me and put a huuuuge smile from ear to ear onto my face awarding me with those wonderful awards:
