64-365: Father Rhine

[ Captain Luis had an appointment at the dentist this morning.
While we picked him up from the kindergarten yesterday evening, our little guy reported he fell from a table while playing tag with another little boy.
He moaned about head- and toothache, but was proud he didn't get caught in the game (!!!).
Of course I was so worried that I called the dentist immediately. We were told to apply pain meds if necessary and stop by early in the morning. The doctor checked Luis' teeth - TG we did not have to call the tooth fairy... looks like everything is okay. *phew*

After the appointment we took Lily and Luis out for a walk at the Rhine shore. Since it was too windy to picnic outside, we had a cozy indoor picnic in the Mini. Maybe we'll have a chance to savor a "real" picnic after the upcoming dental check-up on March, 15th... ]

Spring has sprung in Dusseldorf - the 5 million crocusses (not kidding) are just one evidence.

After a super-lovely brunch with our friends C+R Luis begged us to visit the duckies and brants. He even was willing to share his Kinder Milchschnitte.
I convinced him to give the whole snack to the birds and got him a new one.

59-365: Recorded by His Master Voice

We found the “His Master Voice” tin-plate sign at the Aachener Platz flea market. It’s an original from 1927 - and it’s still there, as long as no one else bought it. The reason? It was reduced to 650 EUR. Oooops.

Dusseldorf has celebrated Jan Wellem’s 350th birthday. Part of the celebrations has been a huge baroque market. I couldn’t decide which photo to post, so I went for “random choice”. You’re having a look at photo no. 32/99.

Hot-air balloon festival in Dusseldorf… Man, that was cool - and cold. I’m frozen. Can’t wait to see my bed.
Good night-y!
