[ IKEA has released the new garden furniture / outdoor collection.
Yeah, I know... doesn't make much sense to buy new stuff before our move, but "sense" is a foreign concept to pmsy persons like me, myself and I.
Of course I also had to indulge myself with köttbullar and fries. I was generous enough not to bite anyone, but to share said köttbullar, fries and additional hot dogs with the family. Cute, eh? ]

[ Back home from a quick grocery shopping trip. I had to fix the fridge up with just a few things: fresh fruits, veggies, panini, and butter. Yoghurt was the last things on my shopping list. I stood in front of the refrigerated display case, searching for Luis' favorite yoghurt ("Paula") and Lily's choice ("Fruchtzwerge"). After I placed those in my shopping cart, I found myself adding yoghurt for me. I couldn't decide, ended up buying each flavor TWICE:
2x cherry
2x strawberry
2x vanillia
2x hazelnut
2x walnut / macadamia
2x plum / cinnamon
2x citron
2x marchpane
2x stracciatella
2x roast apple

I don't even LIKE walnuts. But I pretty much remember the last time I felt such a rampant lust for yoghurt... and what happened 6 month later. Hmmmmm... whoops. ]

[ Been to another mall today. It's a fairly new mall opened by the end of last year. One of Luis' kindergarten teachers told me she loves shopping there. I guess the main reason for my experience is the day has already been pretty crappy before I decided to give it a try: It seems this mall is just not made for me. I wanted to get a little extra for my MILs (Hey there, Uschi!) upcoming birthday, visited every shop inside, got hungry, searched for food, longed for Asian cuisine, finally found a Thai Street Kitchen, was shocked by the prizes ( EUR 16,50 for eggrolls - go figure), ended up at the Golden M restaurant, had a disgusting "Big Rösti" Burger, found myself buying a new dress for me (comfort shopping), declared the suite next to the beautiful fountain in the pic to be the only place worth a short stay and went back home.
Lessons learned:
Never go shopping...
... on a crappy day
... being hungry
... and frustated
... when you're feeling you need to end a friendship!!!

[ Ages ago I loved shopping at malls like the CentrO. I loved the variety of shops. I loved indulging myself with fattening treats at the so called "Coca Cola Oase" or just watching people passing by (and bitching about some of them). The last time I visited the CentrO last year I felt a change.
I hated being there. The lack of parking spaces sucked. The kaput elevators sucked (Ever carried a baby in a buggy 3 stories down...?). The shops sucked. The food sucked. People sucked.
However, I thought I'd give the CentrO another try today and I found being there surprisingly comfortable. I even managed finding myself a new dress, pullover, cardigan, LA-Shirt, socks, leg warmers, etc. blabla. After finising shopping we debated what to eat. Asian food from Haiky or French fries from the Patat Store. We went for the fricking delicious original Dutch French fries, Frikandel and loads of special peanut sauce. Oh, so yummy. There is still hope I will be fitting into the new dress the upcoming Saturday. Just a tat... but hope dies at last. ]

Okay… that´s 175kg / 385lb of furniture… furniture for Hamster 2.0! We´ll have to carry all the stuff upstairs and set everything up.
I love stuff like that - but I honestly prefer to get my orderings delivered on the day they should arrive… not 6 weeks early. Hopefully we don´t get an early Hamster 2.0, too.

Shopping for the litte girl, code name Hamster 2.0, is so much fun. I nearly forgot how tiny the “newborn” baby stuff is! We can´t wait to finally meet our little princess… 17 weeks to go.
