No, we haven´t been on a short trip to the German island Sylt… but we´ve been at “Gosch, Sylt” in Dusseldorf for a snack with friends right after visiting the Spring fair.
I had to take a snapshot of the wall painting and decoration at Gosch. Is it just kitschy or neat or maybe both? What do you think?

The sky above Dusseldorf, Germany tonight - a snapshot I took while we were on our way back home (out of our car). Jens visited us in the early morning today. After a huge breakfast we got our stuff packed and drove to the fleamarket. Thereafter we stopped by at our friend Christian, the owner of the very best ice cream parlor in town. Sitting outside, enjoying the best icecream we can imagine… followed by a fine BBQ back home - I´m still full

The broad-leafed trees in our part of the world have lost all their leaves during the past months. It´s usual that the leaves are falling in very large amounts by the end of fall. Even the parks seem to be grey. I love going for a long walk in the parks or forests from spring to fall when everything looks so colorful. But I also enjoy nature in the winter when the air is crisp. It´s also nice to have a look at those things you only have the chance to when it´s winter:
