4-365: Shaky Rant Edition

[ My Mini Cooper broke down this morning. I was on the motorway right in the middle of a snowstorm, on my way to take Lily to get her next vaccaine shots. Temperature was -12°C (10.4°F) when my cute little Mini decided he needed a break. I wonder if it was necessary to take such an expensive break (head gasket and cooling unit have to be exchanged), my dear Moppelchen?
And why on earth did it have to be under such sh*tty weather conditions???
Special thanks go out to my friend C.
He came to our rescue within half an hour.
Although I took the "picture of the day" after I were kind of defrosted
by the cozy seat heating of C.'s brandnew Audi Q5, I still was a bit shaky.
Lily loved her adventure on the Autobahn, warmly dressed in a skisuit.
Me and my wallet...? Not so much.]

Sanni (24 comments.) at 10.01.10 | 19:57: DS - Thank you, my friend. TG Lily was dressed warmly and there are always 2 blankets in the trunk for the double trouble. Weather conditions were awful, but stepping out of the car to position the breakdown triangle on the highay, leaving the little princess behind really scared the sh*t out of me…
I first called the ADAC (like AAA) and was informed they’d be able to help us out in round about 5 up to 6 hours!!! I’ll be forever thankful C. came to our rescue within 30 minutes, towing away the car to the garage and returning Lily and me home safe, sound and warm. *Phew*
