Tonight’s dinner goes by the funky name Swine Pasta. I used the original recipe by Liz Hill from Bluegrass Foodie, but I did cut the bacon into tiny dices instead of 1/2 inch pieces to make the Swine Pasta easier to eat for Luis. The addults here from Casa M added their black pepper after I took the photo.
There are two things I still cannot believe:
1.) How comes I wasn’t able to capture just a single pea out of about 30 on this plate for the photo?
2.) The recipe shared by Liz was easy as 1-2-3 and tasted like heaven. Okay, I admit, I was pretty sure it would be good b/c I knew where I stole it from… but that good…?! No leftovers for Jersey!
Now check out Bluegrass Foodie if you haven’t already!

Spring has sprung in Dusseldorf - the 5 million crocusses (not kidding) are just one evidence.

Mmmh… I added “spring cleaning” to my to-do list for today and subtracted it in the very first minute I realized how nice and warm it was. Instead of hunting for dust bunnies I went for gardening…
