A Month-By-Month Review of our 2007…

January: The New Year started quite busy for me - without any resolutions (doesn´t work for me), but I started my “huge after pregnancy weightloss journey” adding lots of sports to my diet. What can I say? It worked =)

February: A month stuffed with plannings - for Luis christening. The “big day” was on February 18th, a perfect day.

March: Things calmed down - and the ease and peace bestowed another Crohn´s flare-up. Definitely not funny :,(

April: We celebrated Luis 1st birthday with a blast - one of my personal highlights 2007. He started to walk on his 1st Birthday.

May: A busy month again - I reached my weightloss goal plus I started designing all the bloglayouts for Pimp Your Blog.

June: Besides the celebration of my 33rd birthday (*ewwww*) - the Pimp Your Blog Shop opened its gate and we celebrated Jersey´s Birthday as well. She started blogging that day.

July: My PILs came to visit us - family fun… and we´ve had 2 Birthday celebrations. My beautiful Mommy´s and Coffee2go´s 1st Birthday.

August: Happy 41st Birthday, my love! We celebrated Frank´s 41st sun-orbit with a rocking party. Luis fell in love for the first time.

September: Happy Birthday to my Daddy - see, there´s always a good reason to paaaarty =)
We´ve also made a few short trips… Germany didn´t have a “real summer” this year, but the weather has been surprisingly calm this September.

October: Another highlight in 2007: The Halloween Party at our home…. and the fact that October is the month I got pregnant again (no more details) *smile*

November: WOO-HOO! A positive pregnancy test!!! A great reason to go on a very belated summer vacation to Spain =)

December: The whole December was dominated by… Christmas. What else? The ultrasound pictures showing my pregnancy with a little bundle of joy made us feeling even more festive =)
Having a look at the Christmas picture you can see I´m getting rounder and rounder again - obviously =)

Thank you all so much for your kind comments and wishes on the announcement. It really means a lot to me!

All in all it 2007 has been a (mostly calm) year full of love and joy to me and mine - I hope yours as well!
Happy New Year, everyone! Stay as you are - love ya! May your 2008 be filled with happiness and blessings galore.

And now…
… our last moment of Homer J. in 2007:

Dec 4

*harrumph* Friends and folks - it´s me again! Yes, me. The little coffee corner has been closed for a while - after I felt a wee bit better we decided to take a break and hop over to Mallorca, Spain and enjoyed a wonderful belated summer-holiday… *sigh*

We returned last Thursday and brought something not-so-nice with us: The whole family was infected with the so called “Noro-virus” *barf*. We´re getting back to feeling “normal” step by step. Enough said.

You see, it´s been qiet inside the kittle coffee corner, but definitely not outside. My blogging pals did not forget about me and put a huuuuge smile from ear to ear onto my face awarding me with those wonderful awards:

The “Community Blogger Award” was given to me by Blogging by Sandee and Are we there yet???:

This award celebrates people who reach out and make the blogger community a better one. A big thank you.So in the spirit of community, I tag the following people who truely make the blogger community a better one.

My friends over at Comedy+ and …And Miles To Go Before We Sleep… both thought of me when they recieved the “Blog Buddies Award”

and the “Major Award”:

I also recieved the “Best Blogging Buddies Award” created by Colin, given to me by Sandee:

Having received many awards I have decided that it was time I created one for ALL my Blogging Buddies. You are ALL awesome and contribute to the wonderful global communities that we have all created. Thank you

and the “Thank you for being my friend”-Award, created by Mel, given to me by my wonderful friend Sandee:

I´m proud to show you two other fine awards, both given to me by Sandee and Bridget, the “Thank you…”-Award, given to be by Queen Mimi as well,

and “Blog of the month”:

MMP created the “Winning Attitude” Award - and Sandee passed it on to me:

This award seems like a natural given what my site is all about. This award is based on positive thinking and is meant for those blogs who base their existence, in part or in whole, on Positive Winning Attitudes.

AND (unbelievable, but true) “The colors of friendship” Award:

There´s the “Be the Blog” Award -

Mark from Me And My Drum, who created this badge has this to say, “This badge is for bloggers who make their blogs their own, stay with it, interact with their readers, and have fun!”

Aussie has designed the “Bloggers With Integrity” Award:

After looking, reading and watching many many Blogs and bloggers I decided to issue some recognition to those fellow bloggers I feel maintain integrity in the Blogs. All these bloggers incorporate within their wonderful sites, an integrity not always seen. They share terrific stories, topics, discussions and images. All Well worth a look.

We also got the “Wonder Woman” Award and the “Good Buzzz” Award, both given to us by the one and only Sandee:

Brad The Blogbee, who lives at Polliwog’s Pond has been buzzing around the blogosphere with his circler smile and big button nose, giving out the “Good Buzzz Blog Award” created with the help of Mike Wheeler at Things By Mike.

According to Brad The Good Buzzz Award is:

The Good Buzzz Blog Award is for blogs that have generated a happy hum in the blogosphere. Whether it be for their blog in general, one outstanding, unusual or controversial post, or for something cool the blogger has done. Or even for recognizing some promising, brand-new blogs.

It´s raining two more blog blings, both awarded by my awesome friend Bridget:
“The friendly Site” Award
and the “Mariuca Superstar” Award

Plus: Queen Mimi added some Christmas Spirit to Coffee2go awarding me with the “Spirit Of Christmas” Award, brought to us by Santa himself. How cute is that???

“Break Out Blogger” - we were awarded by jhoaniquing with this great award, created by bobbarama, a while ago:

Thank you so all much - I´m beaming with pride, tickled pink and yes, you leave me speechless. I´m pass the love to:

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: Are you saying you’re never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.
