Welcome to SPSH 53 - Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt #16 for me, Ladies and Gentlemen!
This week´s theme is “HOBBY“.

Well, I have various HOBBIES in my real life. Yes, I have a real life outside this blog, honestly. *LOL* This blog - of course, Coffee2go and blogging in general are a HOBBY of mine. I love to blog and visit fellow blogging friends. Friends… Do Cyber friends, friends and family count, too? I love diving… and I discovered my sporty side when I started to loose weight after pregnancy. Pilates and Baby-Yoga are very relaxing. Other HOBBIES? I´m interested in art - so I paint and draw whenever there´s a bit time. I also like to write (German short stories, poems and I´m currently working on a novel) and there´s lots of music in my life. Designing blogs and scrapbooking are a nice way to relax for me, too. So many HOBBIES - so many opportunities… Which picture shall I post??? Mhhhhm… How about this one? ;)

Thanks for stopping by - happy weekend ya all!

[Please scroll down for Friday´s Feast! Thanks]

“I am so smart! I am so smart! S-M-R-T! I mean S-M-A-R-T…”

Homer J. Simpson

Gattina likes me - she really likes me! That´s why she nominated me for the
Thinking Blogger Award!

The Thinking Blogger Award? Me? Stop! *rewind* Me? I can hardly spell my name ;) - I never expected that my weird thoughts falling out of my bewildered little brain to be served right here, in little Coffee corner, could make anyone THINK.

But Gattina said:

Sanni often has very interesting things to tell and I like her humorous writing style.

I´m deeply honored - so deeply… I´m running out of words… let me cry for help and give it a try:

Sanni’s Acceptance Speech for the Thinking-Blogger-Award:
(Once again to take with a pinch of salt - definitely)

Thank you! Oh! Thank you! I can hardly conjugate verbs! I feel so horny! And this Award - it’s so shiny! Oh, thank you again! I just want everyone to bow down before me and accept that even in my wildest hallucinations, I never would have imagined that this could ever happen to me. And to the other super-amazing lurkers, I want each of you to know how totally wonderful your fake smiles makes me feel right now!You know when they first told me I was nominated, I just had to take a Xanax and think about how freakish my love scenes have been. I guess it all just makes me feel kinda special.

You know, there are so many ass-kissing stalkers to thank! First off though, I want to thank my wonderful friend Gattina of the Academy, who looked deep within her Magic 8-Balls before giving me this fantastic award! Also, I want to thank my guru, for being such a powerful force in my kitchen. And to the hooker with the heart of gold, who taught me to take life by the balls. And finally, to all the Producers I slept with - I couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you Blogosphere, and good night!

(Created with the helpful Academy Awards Acceptance Speech Generator, somewhat modified.)

Thank you so much, Gattina - Vielen, vielen Dank!

I´m supposed to nominate five other fellow Blogger with the Thinking Blogger Award. That´s not a piece of cake, bacause there are many thought-provoking blogs I enjoy. It´s not easy to choose only five, so I´ll try to pick five which were not nominated before as far as I know:

1.) Mrs Lifecruiser @ Lifecruiser - Her blog is always full of high spirits and insightful.
2.) Julie @ Flip This Body - Julie´s amazing weightloss-journey is a great inspiration. She helps me a lot get rid of my love-handles with her tips and posts in general.
3.) Annelisa @ Words That Flow - Annelisa´s blog is full of thought-provoking posts and wonderful pictures. It´s always a pleasure to visit her and escape into stunning nature…
4.) Coco @ A Corner For Coco - Coco´s blog is also very inspiring: “Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.” – Annette Funicello
5.) Gull @ 2.996 - he so deserves this award for his work honoring the 2.996 victims of 9/11.

Here´s what to do, ladies and gentleman:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn’t fit your blog).

Have fun!

xoxoxo,

Welcome to my TT Edition #20 - the Special Edition “A Ball gown is needed”!
- another TT of the category: “Please take me with a pinch of salt!”

Aaaaaah! I´m glad you´re here. Your help is needed. I need a ball gown for the upcoming Cyber Cruise Ball (April 14th 2007). I´ve spend hours in various shops to find the perfect gown. Being the wishy-washy shopoholic that I am I avoided to make a decision. So I hired a shopping- and lifestyle guru. Well, it was a last-minute appointment - but I found one… wondering why a very special prize was offered to me… but I inked the contract.

I guess the experts were busy, because this is the lady they sent me:

And this is what (s)he… (*UHM* it??? ) advised me to buy:

I bought the After - Easter - Sanni - bunny - dress just to get rid of the weird lady. I really need to arrive a decision right now. Could you please help me?

13 Ball gowns - please choose one! Shall I take on of those colorful sexy gowns?
… or one of those gown making me look like a huge candy?

*TEE-HEE* Please leave your advice in your comment. Thanks a lot for your help - I´m off now to buy some shoes, get my hair done, visit the Nail Bar and get a Brasilian Waxing. Last but not least I have to barter my bunny-dress!

Happy TT and thanks for stopping by,

Lisa: I wasn’t talking about you, Dad.
Homer: No, my ears are really burning. I wanted to see inside, so I lit a Q-tip.

You may ask yourself: WTF? Where is Sanni´s Wordless Wednesday entry?
Well… there won´t be a WW today - our internet connection is still a mess… surfing the net and blurfing your blogs feels like being catapulted back to the Stone Age. I decided I won´t participate in today´s WW because I can´t warrant to visit other players. Having a look at all your kind comments I recieved I feel rude because I can´t visit you and leave a comment on my own.

I´ve subscribed to my fave Blogger´s in my feedreader some time ago - so I can read you, but not visit and comment. Do you use a feedreader, too, and if: Does it support the comment section?

I hope the problem will be fixed soon - although the damn so called “hotline” of our provider tells something else… like: “We didn´t register any problem so far. Please visit the arcor-speedcheck-side, up- and download the requested files and report the ticket-numbers.” HA! That´s exactly what I… uhm… let´s say: TRIED. I called the “hotline” and felt like Queen Mimi in her hilarious posting Mimi´s Minutes MEME. I could even watch a jungle growing on my legs while I was waiting for the next free line. After waiting for about one hour (*bing* one minute waiting means 12ct added to my bill *bing*) listening to Mozart´s Lullaby I spoke to a real person, asking me for the ticket-numbers.
I had to answer: “I got none.” -
“We need them. We can´t help you w/ the ticket numbers. They tell us about the port-speed.”
-
“Well, lady. There´s been no speed at all. I recieved the error message: “Your connection is way too slow to up- or download any of our packages! We´ll disrupt now. Please try again later!” -
“Oooops - I´ve never heared about this problem before. I´ll put you on hold and ask the supervisior.”

After another 30+ minutes of Mozart´s Lullaby a machine told me:
“All lines are busy right now. Please try again later. Or use our internet support center to inform us about your internet problem!”
WTF??? Helllloooooo?! *WOOZA*

I hope I don´t upset anybody because I´m such a bad blogging pal at present. The only chance to be online is Frank´s work-computer at present… which is mostly occupied. But I promise to catch up as soon as possible…

Julie has invited to join her Race to the shower - her bridal shower is 16 weeks away. Julie´s goal is to get rid of another 15/16 pounds till then. I really appreciate her invitation and joined the race to get back into the loser-saddle. The Easter holidays thwarted my weight loss… way too many chocolate bunnies and other sins. Uhm… okay, it was not the holiday. It was ME munching all that stuff. However, we weigh in once a week. I faced my fears and had a short meeting with my scale yesterday. The scale didn´t do any backflips - but it didn´t tell me not to appear in groups while weighing either. It showed a +/- ZERO. I got no clue hoe this could happen… but I´m glad. That´s still 132 lb - 7 lb to go.
Wanna join the race or just support? Please visit Flip This Body! The more the merrier!

Turnbaby invited everyone to come up with some six-word-stories in her posting Oooo let´s play:

A writer’s meme.Ernest Hemingway said the best thing he ever wrote was a six-word story. It is this:

For sale–
Baby shoes.
Never used.

My challenge to you, Dear Readers and Writers, is to come up with your own six-word story. That’s all. Six words. How hard could that be? It’ll only take a minute.

I´m not a passiontated writer like most of you. I wrote some short stories and I´m working on a novel at present … but all of my work is written in German so far. I could come up with some German six-worder, but: Who wants to read them? Doesn´t make sense =)

Met him. Done it. Size matters.

I shaved my legs for this?

Alone, he was a caring lover.

Dreamed of him. Got him. Crap.

You can trust me, he lied.

George had always been a Lesbian.

Looks yummy! What is it? - Humans.

He loved people. Exceedingly their insides.

“Red!” was the co-drivers last word.

Six word stories are very addictive.

I will do better next time.

Please visit Turnbaby for more entries!

Whatever you do today, please take a minute to stop by The Blogger´s Choice Awards and vote for my blogging pal´s. You´ll have to sign up for it, but it takes only a minute and it´s free.

Last but definitely not least: My wonderful blogging friend Desert Songbird is ecsaping in a few hours. She´ll trip to Indy. I´m wishing her a fabulous vacation - snow- and rain-free of course!

xoXOxo,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: I’ll never wiggle my bare butt it public again
Lisa: I’d like to beleive that this time, I really would.
