Welcome to my third feast… This week´s feast will be served as a kind of wine-degustation menu - my blogging-friend Matt-Man missed the drinks last week. So I´m going to serve a harmonizing vintage wine to each served course… and a huge glass of extra-WIR for Matt-Man! Cheers!
Appetizer (feat. wine: Gran Reserva Carinena Bodegas del Senorio, 1987)
What was your very first job with a paycheck?
My very first job with a paycheck was a job I had in a boutique. I wasted my time as a shop assistent selling scuzzy black velvet crushed gear to “Gothics” styled like him (or HER?!?!):
Soup (feat. wine: CHÂTEAU MOUTON-ROTHSCHILD 1973 Cru Classé, Pauillac AOC, Bordeaux)
Did you ever lose something really important to you?
The most important thing I have ever lost are the cuff links my Grandpa handed me down. This is an extraordinary loss to me, the more so as I can´t reconstruct how I lost them. I have never had them on - they were in a small box for many, many years… The box is missing and so do the cuff links. Hopefully they appear someday, but the chance is a tiny one - I turned everything topsy-turvey. Mysterious, isn´t it?

Salad (feat. wine: CHÂTEAU GAZIN vin rouge, 1989, Pomerol AOC, Bordeaux)
What is the best Christmas present you ever received?
Oh, I recieved lost of great presents - but the one I can remember best is my teddy “Baby”. Santa brought him to me by order of a loved person 17 years ago. Baby is a true friend standing sentinel over my sleep every night =)
Main Course (feat. wine: Los Curros Yllera Reserva 1991)
Tell about a favorite “hang out” place for you and your friends when you were in high school.
Mmmmmh, I guess the place we loved most has been “Atlantico Café” in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westfalia, Germany - a Mexican Bar and Bodega serving Tex-Mex-food (excellent scalloped Nachos) and drinks… Hooray! Corona beer!
Dessert
Name something that always brings a smile to your face.
- Watching the adventures of our little son Mr L
…our Dog-Diva Mrs J and Mr L are passing the buck to each other every day =)
- A hug or a kiss or just a glance of my beloved Mr F
- My Mommy´s daily phone call
- A nice comment on my blog
- An “oldfashioned” letter of… Oh, is the Dessert strictly limited to ONE smile??? Oooops… Sorry, I´m a kind of Cheshire cat =)))
Thanks for dining! Espresso anybody?
And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Lisa: I’m an ugmo.
Homer: Now, that’s not true. You’re cute as a bug’s ear.
Lisa: Father’s have to say that little stuff.
Homer: Dad, am I cute as a bug’s ear?
Grandpa: No. You’re homely as a mule’s butt.
Homer: There. See?

Losing something that someone special has given you is a pretty bad feeling. I have things my father gave me before he passed away and I would be very sad if I lost them also. A good feast. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
