I feel it…

It´s a feeling in my gut,
A rumble in my tummy,
A flatter in my heart.
It´s the winds of change,
The “anything is possible” vibe.
A sense of confidence, love & loyality.
We can do this. We can make a difference.
We can be heard. We will.
There is a big, wonderful world
just begging to be taken by storm.
Be ready.

And we were ready =)
On the first BLOGBLAST FOR PEACE day (November 7th, 2006) over one hundred bloggers joined Mimi´s Dona Nobis Pacem vision.

Today I like to thank Mimi for her amazing campain, Frank for his time and effort displaying all those beautiful little Peace Globes in the Gallery and Morgen for the great idea to list and link the participants. And of course -last, but not least-: everybody else who worked on this great idea I don´t know about…
To me, it was a nice side action to travel around the blogosphere, see all those pretty Peace Globes and read the peaceful posts. I found a lot of sites I´ve never been before and patronize since the BLOGBLAST FOR PEACE.

“Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us, and the world will live as one.”
– John Lennon

Another little chance to show your wish for peace is to light a candle like over 8 Million people did already.

To say it in Yaxlich´s words:

“Maybe next year a few hundred will become a few thousand. Maybe the year after it will be tens of thousands. Maybe the year after a million. Who knows?”
– Yaxlich, The World Of Yaxlich

That is exactly what I´m hoping for. Why shouldn´t it be possible over 8.000.000 people join the BLOGBLAST FOR PEACE one day (they also lit a candle)? Now I´m off to visit Mimi… feel free to visit (and leave her a comment) as well, because:

Big HUGS and little kisses,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: Your mother has this crazy idea that gambling is wrong. Even though they say it’s okay in the Bible.
Lisa: Really? Where?
Homer: Eh, somewhere in the back.

Me, myself and I

I know, I am addicted to coffee and you know it as well (at the latest since my 1st TT last week). But last Thursday I discovered how keenly I am in need of coffee. I fall for coffee so highly, I forget to introduce myself FIRST :)
Please excuse the delay…

“Hi, I´m Sanni - and this are 13 random facts about me…”

1.) I am 32 years old, deeply in love with Mr F - the greatest man I can imagine, proud Mommy of our six month old son Mr L.

2.) I am a painting, cooking, tinkering and musical bookworm.

3.) I cannot sleep until my pyjama buttons are locked into the holes.

4.) I got 3 tattoos and about 3.000 others planned. Guess I have to start an affair w/ a tattoo-artist *kidding*

5.) I do my best work at night while the world around sleeps

6.) I organize… and reorganize… and reorganize again. Never satisfied w/ it.

7.) I love using sharp pencils and I love the office supply store.

8.) I can´t sit still very long which makes it hard for me to watch a movie.

9.) I love our Labrador diva Mrs J, but sometimes I go crackers seeing her losing 2 tons of fur in a second covering the parquet kile a carpet… having another 14 tons in stock. Welcome winter pelt! Thanks for being responsible the vacuum cleaner turns out to be my best friend for the next weeks.

10.) I stood in below -5 degree (23F) weather in the snow for several hours just to get concert cards for Robbie Williams Close Encounter Tour 2006.

11.) I am a professed girly-girl. I love all things pink and sparkly, a good sappy novel and chick-flicks. But I also love camping, deep-sea diving, football and beer. Maybe I am more well-rounded than I thought.

12.) I gained 61kg (134 pounds!!!) as a result of gestosis during pregnancy - in fact I more than doubled my weight. I lost 49kg (107.8 pounds) since April, 26th 2006, but the last 12 kg (26.4 pounds) don´t wanna leave… whatever I try, they stay on my hips. *frustrating*

13.) I curse and talk way too much :)

Happy Thirteening!

thanx 4 stopping in ♥,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: Remember that postcard Grandpa sent us from Florida of that Alligator biting that woman’s bottom? That’s right, we all thought it was hilarious. But, it turns out we were wrong. That alligator was sexually harrassing that woman.

Happy WW,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: Mother Simpson: [sings] How many roads must a man walk down / Before you can call him a man…
Homer: Seven.
Lisa: No, dad, it’s a rhetorical question.
Homer: OK, eight.
Lisa: Dad, do you even know what “rhetorical” means?
Homer: Do *I* know what “rhetorical” means?
