A few days ago I tagged my wholearchive for del.icio.us - and I noticed that there are lots of posts labeled “German”. On +*~rEtrO~*+ - days I´m going to translate some of them for my foreign visitors. Here we go…

Coffee…? With lots of milkfroth!

About 9 (update: 13) months ago…

… my little world has changed.

To the better
I discovered the impossible became possible. I still know exactly, how I looked into the smirking face of 2 pink strips… and thought I would burst in a second while watching them. I felt so grateful and strained - and a little scared and veeeeery nervous… and - of course - Oh so lucky. So unbelievable lucky. I thought about whether a boy or a girl plays hide behind the 2 strips… thought, how I will cope with the new situation and how Mr F will cope with it.
I hoped everything will be fine. Counted the days… the remaining 6 months up to birth seemed to be a very short time!

fast forward…

Mr L is 3 (actually: 6 and a half) months young. I cannot remember living my life without him. He is the missing piece of my puzzle. It feels as if he would have been always there.

He completed our little family.

So what…?

Apart from the fact that I now am “The Mommy” as well: I am addicted to Latte Macchiato (I need it - keeps me alive) - so I will report every now and than what happens in my small little and chaotic world, serving a fresh brewed one to you.

Themed: Droll stories of a mad chaotic queen!
On this note: Welcome to Coffee 2 go - have fun!

Coffee anyone…?

Homer: Lisa, if the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn’t, it’s that girls should stick to girls sports, such as hot oil wrestling and foxy boxing and such and such.

I am…

drinking: tonight Leffe Triple
- very yummy Belgian beer

listening: Scissor Sisters - Ta-Dah

feeling: snug like a bug in a rug =)

reading: Flash 8 - boring to the death, but necessary

thinking: 14 days to go till Advent season… that´s 35 days till Christmas. What means: Sanni is as merry as a lark!

doing: joining blogwhore - I found this service on Bond´s Big Leather Couch… and I guess it is a nice idea to merge advertisers with bloggers… maybe there´s a chance to earn some nest eggs. Or we can spent it on a new Jura Impressa J5 I´d like to get in order to serve even more brilliant coffee to you all. Godness knows…

wanting: a cigarette. Yes, I confess: I still smoke once in a while… I reduced it to less then a third of my former consumption and I never smoke inside. Of course, I´m trying to get rid of it… But I fail to slim AND stop smoking at the same time. *sigh*

smiling: about my Tiffy-feet

smelling: vanilla scent candles

needing: a sense of achievement reducing my weight

loving: my new slippers… the reason for my Tiffy-feet. Are you strong enough to have a look? Sure? They are a bit queer. Mmmh, to tell the truth… not only a bit… Wanna see? As save as houses? Okay… have the heart and *click* the button…

Coffee2go cannot be held responsible for anything that happens to you as a result of watching this pic. Especially neither an sexual deadbeat nor any opposites =)

enjoying: Mr L´s unbelievable proceedings

finding: breadcrumps in the butter =)

teaching: myself not to lose my temper AND to stay away from cookies. Anybody out there who dares to assist?

humming: I Don´t Feel Like Dancing

wishing: the yultide cookies I´m looking forward to bake will NOT join the 12 kg pregnancy-love-handles on my hips =)

xoXOxo,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Homer: It’s not just a store - it’s a Megastore! ‘Mega’ means ‘good,’ ’store’ means ‘thing.

So many things to do, so little time =)

I´m late (again) for Sonny´s Friday Five! So I´m not going to tag anyone but feel free to copy and paste it to your own journal and reply to the questions :)

Welcome to another “Interview With A Crackpot” - Today featuring: The Internet

Sanni´s Evil Blogger Twin is off for the weekend… so “only” Sanni is at our command. Here we go:

Oh Internet, how we crave thee…

1. How much time do you spend on the Internet daily?
*Oooops* Can I just tell you my weight instead? *lol*
I am a freelancer working w/ my notebook… so I´m online about 9 hours a day for work plus an additional 3 hours a day in leisure time… which is way down and more healthy from how I used to be. I know, I´m such a geek… =) Go me!

2. What are your favorite 3 websites?
Way too many… can´t pick only three. So I´m going to factor out the websites I visit for work. Whenever I find a bit time to relax:
1.) Have a look at my blogroll on the right =)
2.) Mr L (My little son´s babypage)
3.) ebay

3. Do you eat at your computer?
Every once in a while… but I´m trying to break this habit, because:
1.) I would never take a break while working when eating at my notebook.
2.) Who read my Thursday Thirteen #2 knows I am trying to get rid of the last 12 kg
(26.4 pounds) remaining on my hips after pregnancy. I guess I will never make it when nibbling while I sit at my computer. =)

4. Pick one and why - Reading the news online or in a newspaper?
Can´t pick one because I do both. I love to read an “old-fashioned” newspaper by weekend´s brunch. I prefer online-news on the job because I don´t breakfast in week commencing Monday to Friday and it´s easy to access a news-ticker additionally while working online.

5. How many people are on your instant messenger buddy list?
At present I do not use any IM service. At the hight of my usage I had around 15 or so…

And where do we go from here??? YESSSSSSS:

Enjoy your wEEkEnd, everybody!

Catch ya,

And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Marge: Homer, I don’t want you driving around in a car you built yourself.
Homer: You can sit there complaining, or you can knit me some seat belts.
