My notebook commited suicide :,(
R.I.P. my friend!
Welcome to my frist Friday´s Feast.
Hopefully you´re not too stuffed after yesterday´s Thanksgiving =)
Feel free to nibble!
1.) Appetizer
Have you ever changed a flat tire by yourself?
I´ve had two flat tires to date *KnockOnWood*.
I have changed the first one by myself. HA! Great experience… *kidding* Last year I touched the curbstone driving our Mini Cooper - the conclusion: A huge hole in the tire. I wanted to change the falt tire, but: Surprise, surprise - NO spare wheel. The Cooper has a kind of second skin inside the tire, so you can drive to the garage if anything happens. Not necessary to tell the security skin had a hole as well?! I got hauled off to the next BMW-garage… and about $ 170,00 went *poof* out of my wallet.

2.) Soup
Do you have an “innie” or an “outie” belly button?
I am the “innie” type (again). During pregancy I spent 2 months being an “outie”

3.) Salad
Name a new paint color and describe it.
Silvuccino - a mixture of cappuccino color and sparkling silver glitter… like a very festive dressed Latte Macchiato…

4.) Main Course
What is your favorite holiday tradition?
I love love LOVE Christmas… my favorite childhood memory is decorating the Christmas tree with Mommy and Daddy. It´s our sons 1st Christmas this year… and I can´t wait to decorate EVERYTHING - exceptionally the tree!

5.) Dessert
If you were a cookie, what kind of cookie would you be, and why?
An Oreo cookie - just because I always dreamed of swimming in this: =)

I hope you enjoyed the feast… Espresso anybody…?
Thanks for stopping in,
And now…
… our moment of Homer J.:

Lisa: Dad, don’t you think you’re overreacting?
Homer: Don’t you think you’re *under*reacting?
Lisa: This conversation is over.
Homer: This conversation is *under*.
Lisa: Goodbye.
Homer: *bad*bye
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans, and anyone else who is celebrating Thanksgiving. I´m feeling a bit blue we don´t commemorate Thanksgiving in Germany. So I´m going the serve “my” turkey on Christmas… but in the spirit of Thanksgiving I bring you:
Thirteen (unsorted) facts I´m thankful for…
1.) Mr F - my husband to be that adores me as much as I adore him. We have each other and are each other’s favourite person.
2.) Mr L - our little son who make us smile and beam with pride, making life worth living every day.
3.) My Mom and Dad - the best (grand-)parents I can imagine. They love and care about both of us and Mr L of course. We love them right back and are thankful for their support.
4.) My parents-in-law. They are exactly the same… One of the most touching moments in my life has been Mrs U naming me her daughter.
5.) Our dog. Mrs J is the most annoying and needy dog on earth, but she’s ours.
6.) Our friends we made throughout our life - for their health and happiness. These people are pretty much the coolest people we know. Some of them we haven´t seen for ages… we badly miss them - but we know it will be “as always” when we meet again.
7.) Our home - having a roof over the head… but during summer this house finally became our home. We love our spot in the world.
8.) Our health. Nothing makes you more grateful for good health than a little bit of pain.
9.) Our company. We raised or own little business last year. I am thankful I get the chance to do something I really enjoy every day.
10.) Our chance to enlarge our little family. Thanks to the doctors who worked wonders preventing me from passing away whilst pregnancy… and medicating me without disabling me from giving birth to a child again.
11.) Our freedoms- I am grateful to live in a country where freedoms are still “free” and I do not have to fear daily bombings, or going to bed hungry, or becoming enslaved or persecuted. We live in a country which is free and save… A special thanks to all of you, who protect us from those that seek to destroy it. You are in our thoughts and prayers every day.
12.) Our leisure time - For having a little bit of time in the day for leisure to read, relax or write. For having some disposable income so that we can have a little fun here and there. For having a hobby I really enjoy which helps take my mind off some things.
13.) YOU! I am grateful to have such wonderful friends like you who take the time to read my ramblings on Coffee2go. Even though almost all of you I have never met, I feel a special bond that crosses tmie and space. It brings me close to those of you who feed my soul…
Wishing each of you and all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving ♥,
And now…

Ralph Wiggum: I’m a boy.
Homer: That’s the spirit. Never give up.
