# 3.) La mia musica del favorito…

Goooood morning, folks!

Mr T´s birthday party last night was f..king brillaint! We mingled to the “Casino Royal”-Event @ La Rocca
- *uuuuuh* Boogie all night long!

b.t.w.:
hApPY BirThDaY mR ToM kA! Get yourself confy today… and don´t forget to take some pain-relieve :-) - I picked the whole box already!

Well, the 3rd part of the enjoyable Meme lolls to be filled-up! I am totally addicted to music, so it will be pretty difficult for me to choose “only” one song. There´s always music in my soul… and additional my ipod carries about 1.000 songs. Now I´m going to deflate both for you… a wee bit… :-)
Here we go!

Music Meme

1.)The first CD you ever bought:
Oh my god, I am antiquing! *örhöööm* Ladies and gentleman, I confess I am as old as Metusaleh. Being born during the bright 70s I can´t remember the first CD
I ever bought, but the first song: It was released in 1984. By being 10 years old I purchased a 7″ vinyl record (*yohoooo* This reminds me of the “Werther´s Echte” advertisement, just like:”I will never forget the taste of my first caramel candy. I was 4 years old and my grandpa gave it to me. Now I am the grandpa and what else should I give to my grandchild…?”). However, my first song was Footloose performed by Kenny Loggins. The acustical quality left much to be desired, but sometimes I miss the typical crackling of the good old platters.

2.)A song that keeps you in a good temper:
Out of millions of possibilities I choose Hey Ya - The BossHoss. I like “dum-di-dum”-music…

3.)A song that made you cry:
If you´re not the one by Daniel Bedingfield- I cry my eyes out. This happens almost every time I listen to it, independent of being happy or sad.

Another good example might be Sweet Child Of Mine by Guns`N`Roses or some of the Cat Stevens Collection e.g. Father To Son… and doubtless: Nur Zu Besuch (DTH)

4.)A song you´d trust to sing on a karaokee show:
Now it is getting embarrassing… I admit: I did it already. During my vacation in Puerto Plata, Domenican Republic (2001) I met a swedish guy who took my out to a bar called “Hemingways”. So, it was his 30th birthday eve and he wanted us all to be part of that night karaokee-show. After swigging a few Cuba libre we registered to the show. Drunk like a rat we performed Since I don´t have you (Guns´N´Roses again), I got you babe (Sonny & Cher) and Californiacation (Chili Peppers). I told him I never before had the heart to disgrace myself in such a way. We approached during our stay (yes… a badly crush…) and I promised him to come back to Hemingway´s after his departure. I kept my word an dedicated By Your Side (Sade) to him.

5.)An album you´d like to take to a desert island:
An Album? *whooow* Only one? Impossible! It has to be my ipod - definetly - containing stuff 5 folders with different styles of music:
1.) Spanish and Italian stuff - like the Café del Mar Soundtracks, Shakira, Juanes, Eddie Herrera, Eros Ramazotti and Zucchero
2.) Ladies and Gents chants - like Alanis Morisette, P!NK, Dido, Annie Lennox, Sade and Sanne Salomonsen or like Robbie Williams, Elton John, Jamiroquai, Seal, Garth Brooks and James Blunt
3.) Different bands - like Aerosmith, GooGoo Dolls, U2, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Chili Peppers, The Verve, Oasis, R.E.M., Guns´N´Roses and Evanescence
4.) German artists - like Herbert Grönemeyer, Xavier Naidoo, Wolfsheim, Die Toten Hosen, Juli and Silbermond
5.) Noise - like Placebo, Kid Rock, LaCrimosa, New Order, Joy Division, Rammstein, Das Ich, Front242, Die Krupps, Pink Turns Blue, Silke Bischoff, Nirvana, The Prodigy, Smashing Pumpkins, The Bloodhound Gang but also House Music like Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Daft Punk, Club 69, Lil Louis, etc.

6.)Your favored music genre:
It seems to be much easier to name which music genres I hate:
- German Beer Drinking & Merrymaking Songs (Featuring Music From The Octoberfest In Munich)
- Folksongs from Bavaria
- German Military Marches or Polka (absolutely no go!!!)

Depending on my caprice, I like mostly every other kind of music… all different shades of House, (Dark) Wave, Electronic Beats, Rock, Metall, Pop, Classic, and so on. Sometimes -when being really rat-arsed- I can stand “WDR4-music” like Andrea Berg as well (don´t tell… it is a secret). And I am dying for Leo Delibes´ Lakme Flower Duett!

7.)Your most popular musician:
- female: Alanis Morisette
- male: Robbie Williams
- Band: Die Toten Hosen
{No regrets for making 3 answers available by modiying the Meme and seperating the question into different sexes *ggg*}

8.)The last song you listened to:
Placebo - Slave To The Wage

9.)The last CD you bought:
Robbie Williams: Rudebox
I subscribed at amazon last Saturday. I am happily looking forward to recieve it on October 20th.

10.)Your favourite songs of all time (up to 15):

2.) Train: Drops Of Jupiter
3.) Sade: Every Word
4.) Jamiroquai: Corner Of The Earth
5.) Sanne Salomonsen: I Can´t Make You Love Me
6.) Smashing Pumpkins: Ava Adore
7.) Placebo: Every You, Every Me
8.) Alanis Morisette: That I would be good
9.) Seal: Love Divine

12.)DTH: Hang On Sloopy
13.)Pink Turns Blue: Michelle
14.)Zucchero: Senza Una Donna
15.)The Cranberries: Just My Imagination
{Annotiation of the C2go editorial stuff: 15 is too little… I´m a music addict!!!}
